By joining this 2-part workshop, on Fostering Independence and Motivation with Sarah Chana Radcliffe, you will discover how to:
- Enhance your child’s self-esteem in order to elicit greater motivation.
- Help your children become independent problem solvers.
- Encourage independence and motivation rather than enabling a lack of will by doing too much for your them.
- Prevent fears and anxiety from shutting down your child’s drive.
- Teach decisiveness instead of encouraging helplessness by making their decisions for them.
This series contains practical methods, class notes, and guided meditations.
Session 1:
Discover how low self-esteem and anxiety could reduce a child’s drive and motivation and what you can do about it. Explore how to manage expectations is order to encourage greater motivation and how to prevent criticism becoming a tool that stifles a child’s drive.
Session 2:
Discover the age-appropriate levels of making their decisions, taking care of needs and fixing their problems in order to prevent them from falling into a helpless and fearful mindset.
About Sarah Chana Radcliffe: A registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Sarah Chana Radcliffe has been practicing marriage, parenting and individual counseling for over 40 years. Sarah Chana is a well sought after lecturer on stress management, relationships, anger management and emotional well-being. She is the author of Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice, The Fear Fix, Make Yourself at Home, and 5 other books on family life and emotional well-being.
