Class schedule:
Class 1: Become introduced the concept of hashgacha (Divine providence) and its significance in all aspects of creation. Discover the necessity of a unique form of hashgacha
Class 2: Explore our purpose of existence in This World, “elegant solutions” to destructive behavior and at the concept of Tikkun. GAin a deeper understanding of the yetzer tov and yetzer ra within each of us and our absolute control over the direction we move.
Class 3: Explore the consequence of having free will and the potential for good and evil, the two dimensions for reward and the necessity for both.
Class 4: Consider the dimension of repayment for our deeds in the Olam HaNeshamos, the exactitude of this repayment and specifically addressed the experience of Kaf Hakeleh.
Class 5: Gain insight into why we don’t retell the story of Chanuka during the holiday. Continue learning in the Derech Hashem and explore the intrinsic bond between body and soul, the existence of our ultimate self as a pure summation of our words and deeds in This World.
Class 6: Examine the end result of extraordinarily wicked individuals, the meaning of “losing one’s share in the World to Come” and the Jewish attitude toward physical desires. Explore the differentiation of levels in the Next World and its direct proportion to the work an individual has done in This World.
Class 7: Explore the concept of Knesses Yisrael, the composite soul of the Jewish people, and the relationship between the individual and the community. Consider the meaning of G-d’s unity and how this is reflected in shalom (peace), the exact justness of one’s existence in the World to Come and its dependence on the quality of our actions in This World.
Class 8: Discover the exact justness of one’s existence in the World to Come. Gain answers from Rabbi Tatz on many questions on various topics including crying from joy, applying our learning in the Derech Hashem to practical life, the wickedness of nations, and more.

About Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz
Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz is a South African born physician, author and lecturer. He studied medicine in Johannesburg with elective work at Washington University in St Louis and graduated with distinction in surgery. He spent a number of years concurrently practicing medicine and engaging in Talmudic study in Israel. His Jerusalem Medical Ethics Forum teaches and promotes knowledge of Jewish medical ethics internationally. He has written a number of books on the subjects of Jewish philosophy and Jewish Medical Ethics: Anatomy of a Search, Living Inspired, Worldmask, The Thinking Jewish Teenager’s Guide to Life, Letters to a Buddhist Jew, Dangerous Disease & Dangerous Therapy in Jewish Medical Ethics, Will, Freedom & Destiny, and As Dawn Ends the Night.
