Schedule:
Session 1: Relating to Our Sexual Attitudes
Engage in a mindfulness practice to bring yourself to full awareness and gain a better understanding of how the messages you’ve heard and internalized about your own body and sexuality has impacted your intimacy with your partner.
Session 2: Creating an Ideal Intimate Relationship: Emotional and Physical
Cultivate a safe and healthy dynamic based on trust, respect, reliability and stability. By creating a relationship model that includes “his space, her space, and shared space”, you’ll be able to experience a mutual pleasure of giving and receiving.
Session 3: How the Body Speaks its Mind (Guf/ Nefesh Approach)
Explore how the emotional realm affects the physical realm and vice versa: Often what is going on in the bedroom is reflective of certain dynamics taking place in the emotional part of a marriage. Plus, re-approach and redefine your ability to communicate with your spouse (in regards to intimacy).
Session 4: Intimacy: The Foundation of Shalom Bayit
Using couple-centered therapeutic models, discover how to make changes in a marriage of 20 years where patterns have been set and (potential) pain inflicted. Plus, develop a language to get the pleasure you want with a new communication approach.
Session 5: Q&A
Gain insights into the top intimacy questions through a Q&A and implementation session.

About Abby:
Hi! I’m Abby, a marriage and family therapist, psychotherapist, sex educator and intimacy counselor. I work as an individual psychotherapist and as an intimacy counselor and educator in order to assist and support you on how to utilize your strengths and challenges to your advantage in your life. My workshops and lectures are based on basic tenets such as mutual pleasure and mutual giving, safety within the relationship, and respect for one another. I also feel blessed to work closely with Rabbanim both in Israel and in the US, as well as Yoatzot Halachah, who have a deep understanding in the areas of Halacha surrounding Intimacy and Sexuality. I truly believe in people’s capacity to evolve and make changes in their life. The work is not always easy, but from what I have seen, it is always worth it.
